Enily died while trying to fix a Votes for Women sign on the King's horse in the Epsom Derby.

The famous suffragette's mother kept a shop in Longhorsley (opposite the Leg of Mutton?) and Emily herself is buried in Morpeth. Is there any commemoration in Longhorsley itself?
